True Nikkah was founded in 2023 after seeing how many couples were unable to have their nikah arranged. Some had no mosque nearby willing to help. Some were in different countries with no way to be in the same room. Some were reverts with no Muslim family to stand with them, or brides whose wali could not be there. In almost every case the marriage was permissible in Islam. What was missing was someone to arrange it.
We started True Nikkah to do exactly that.
From the beginning the focus has been on doing it properly rather than quickly, although we have learned to do both. Every ceremony is conducted by a qualified Imam who confirms each condition of a valid nikah before pronouncing a marriage complete. Where couples need a wali or witnesses, we provide them. Where a situation raises a question of Islamic law, it is reviewed before a booking is taken rather than after.
We have now helped over 1,000 couples complete half of their deen, in a wide range of circumstances and across every kind of situation. What makes True Nikkah different is not simply that it is online. It is that couples who were told their nikah was too complicated to arrange find that it is not.

True Nikkah is a scholar-led online nikah service. We arrange the full ceremony from first enquiry through to your certificate, in one coordinated process.
At the heart of the service is a small team of qualified Imams trained in classical Islamic jurisprudence, each with years of experience conducting nikah for couples in a wide range of circumstances. Every Imam is screened before joining, including verification of their scholarly training and qualifications.
Alongside our Imams, we provide practising Muslim witnesses and, where needed, a wali appointed in accordance with Islamic guidance. These are people known to us and vetted before they take part in any ceremony.
This means couples do not need to find an Imam, arrange witnesses, coordinate a venue, or work out what is required. Everything is handled in one place.
Our team supports couples worldwide, with particular experience in ceremonies for reverts, for couples marrying across borders, and for brides without a wali available.
We arrange online nikah ceremonies for couples who want their marriage done properly, without having to piece the arrangements together themselves.
Most couples come to us because something makes an in person ceremony difficult. Distance, family circumstances, no local mosque, or simply not wanting to wait months for a date. Over time we have learned which situations come up most often and how to handle them.

Arranging a nikah is straightforward for some couples and genuinely difficult for others. A local mosque may not conduct ceremonies for people it does not know. A bride may have no wali available. A couple may be in two different countries with no realistic way to be in the same room. It is easy to be told no, without being told what would make it possible.

True Nikkah operates under clear religious accountability, with oversight led by our Director and defined standards for how every ceremony is conducted.

True Nikkah provides religious marriage ceremonies under Islamic law. We do not provide civil marriage registration, and a nikah conducted through this service is not registered with any government. Couples who also require legal recognition arrange this separately with the civil authority where they live.
